We selected a mantle and paid for it... now we can't get in contact to arrange delivery. Choose this company if for 2 months you are prepared to;1) to call them everyday without response2) email them without response3) contact them via facebook without response

Chris and his son, Marcus are true artisans of this highly specialized craft. It has made an amazing difference to my new build. Couldn't be more happier with the work.

Following up from Caza’s 1 star review I completely agree with those comments. My partner and I went to the store, they had our existing cornice in stock that we wanted to order more of for our recent renovations.Chris was somewhat helpful then, followed up Monday to confirm the measurements and order, no response, called the Tuesday, was told they would reply to my email, no response, called the Wednesday, no answer, Texted the mobile number Chris gave us, no response. My partner took Friday off work and went to the shop.According to my partner Chris seemed surprised that he went in, he didn’t sound convincing when he said “I’ll look for the mould over the weekend and get back to you Monday on Tuesday”Monday and Tuesday came no answer, we told our builder that he’s not even attempting to get in touch with us. Our amazing builder told us he would call and follow up. He got in touch with Chris on Tuesday, Chris told him he would find the mould and get back to him the next day. Builder calls the next day no answer and not retuning his calls.I just don’t understand how you do business like that? If you didn’t want the business in the first place, it’s not hard to say “sorry we can’t do it” or “sorry we can’t find the mould” but don’t keep giving people excuses and saying that you will do something and not doing.Lastly it’s also stupid to make a builder an empty promise, wouldn’t you not want to ruin your reputation with them that way for referrals?The whole process was extremely frustrating. We decided to rip down our existing cornice and replace the entire lot and our business went to Perth Plaster Mouldings in bayswater.Wayyyy more helpful. Save yourself the hassle and just go somewhere else in the future.Avoid Chris and his unprofessionalism and empty promises.

BEWARE -------------------------If you want archway moulds or anything intricate dont bother going to this man. THE SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS the excuses from the useless staff if your order isnt ready BUT you have been promised the product for a period of 4 weeks THE on going excuses are we dont have enough room to make it on the one and only work table we have. we have had other orders come in and they need to be done. sorry we just havent had time. You will never get a straight honest answer, it is a who cares policy with this business I am just telling all others trades people to steer away from John Savage. and any other persons that are wanting cornice etc to go else where

We had a plaster fire surround made. I had a fire surround made about 30 years ago by Chris and was so pleased that I didn't look elsewhere this time however, I wish that I had, the quality is substandard and I was extremely disappointed. The plaster is so thin that it sounds hollow. It is cheap and nasty and a waste of money.

Chris Savage Plaster Design has the most beautiful mantel pieces to choose from and he went to great lengths to custom size mine, sending drawings and measurements from my info and photos of fireplace. I also changed my mind twice but that was no problem. Chris and Marcus also installed it to perfection. they are the most friendly and helpful guys.
